  • Editions - Currently published in three languages viz. Hindi, Marathi and Kannada. Editions in other languages would also be taken if the need comes up. Enquiries for tie up with Sharad Krishi for arrangements for collection of articles and success stories, translation, editing, printing, dispatches and circulation alongwith advertisement collection are solicited.
  • Special Issues - Special issues focused on Farmers Innovations, Food Processing, Climate Change & Agribusiness are planned. Experts are requested to contribute articles and success stories on these topics.
  • Subscriber base - Sharad Krishi magazine reaches farmer's organisations and also progressive farmers, extension workers, researchers and policy makers in the States of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Gujarath.
  • Postal Tie up - Sharad Krishi has entered into a tie up with India Post in Maharashtra. Under this arrangement, around 4100 Post Offices in selected 10 districts display a poster and sample copy of Sharad Krishi and accept subscription on behalf of Sharad Krishi. Magazine is dispatched directly to the subscriber by the publisher each month. Similar tie up is coming up for Karnataka State. Gradually, Sharad Krishi will reach every nook and corner of the country with the help of India Post.

M.K.Venugopal - An agricultural extension professional; is a former Deputy Director of Agriculture from Karnataka. He has also served the print and visual media for E TV and Annadata Magazine of Enadu Group, Hyderabad.

Nirmal Madhup - An academician by profession and journalist by heart, looks after the production aspects of Hindi Edition.

Choudhari Charan Singh Award for Journalism in Agricultural Research & Development -

Indian Council of Agricultural Research under the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation conferred this award for year 2007 to Dr. Mahendra Madhup, Senior Journalist and Editor, Sharad Krishi (Hindi). For the first time, a journalist from Rajasthan received this Rs.1.00 lakh award and citation at the hands of Hon'ble Shri. Sharad Pawar, Union Minister for Agriculture.

Atmaram Award for development of technical and scientific literature in Hindi

Kendriya Hindi Sansthan under the Union Human Resource Development Ministry conferred the Rs.1.00 lakh 'Atmaram' Award to Dr. Mahendra Madhup, Senior Journalist and Editor, Sharad Krishi (Hindi). Dr.Madhup received this award and citation at the hands of Her Excellency the President of India Hon'ble Smt. Pratibhatai Devisingh Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
