As discussed on phone, here are the details required

We are writing proposal for USAID which will be three years programme also extendable. Out of these various commodities we need to identify the 3 best commodites in crop agriculture or horticulture which meet with the following criteria:

1. Fast growth: Double digits

2. Possibilities for emergence of SME businesses in intermediate value addition, logistics and downstream processing again by micro enterprises.

We need to identify players in the following categories who work in specifically these commodities:

We have decided to work on following sectors

1. Dairy (complete chain) form inputs, production to market including technical services

2. Poultry (complete chain) form inputs, production to market including technical services

3. Farm forestry (includes forest trees, important fruits/fuel/fodder/trees, some medicinal plants, honey, etc.)

As discussed, u suggested to select Krishnagiri district ( to show Fast growth: Double digits in that particular area) wherein we can work on all the above three sectors and once we select the districts we need the following information from your side, working in that particular area (Dairy, poultry and farm forestry)

1. List of NGOs and their activities

2.List of Traders for these sectors

3. Wholesalers/retailers/exporters

4. Local Micro-enterprise

5. Traders

6. Farmer Association

7. Govt Technical Institutes/KVKs etc

Since, the district is near Bangalore, it will be better if we get market and expert linkages for these sectors there also
