ONGC, under the recently launched "Swatchata Hi Sewa Movement" by Shri Narendra Modi, Honorable Prime Minister of Inda has undertaken the launch of plantation of Tree saplings at the Smartgram school project site location in village Daulah as well as the newly built Gramalaya in village Harchandpur, both villages located in Sohna block of Gurugram district and being 2 of the 100 villages adopted by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Honorable Former President of India during his Presidency under his visionary mission - "SMARTGRAM INITIATIVE". The Swatchata Hi Seva movement is a historic cleanliness mission to fulfill the dream of Mahtama Gandhi of CLEAN INDIA. ONGC's Tree plantation initiative will augment the CLEAN INDIA mission by way of a holistically and comprehensively clean environment energized with clean air.

The launch of the tree plantation is planned on 22nd September 2018 starting at 11.30 am at the Smartgram school project site in village Daulah which is being constructed with financial support from ONGC under its CSR initiative and use of the novel, environmentally friendly Habitech-NivaraTantra onsite natural sanitation integrated disaster resilient building technology solutions.
